Written, photographed and designed by Cameron Delaney, THS Media Team

A teacher at Templeton High School, Mrs. Duhon was in the Olympics and has been a teacher for almost 13 years. Mrs. Duhon has always been a math teacher, but at a previous school where she worked, she also taught PE and a softball class. Mrs. Duhon has always loved softball. Her playing career started when she was just seven years old. She participated in the 2004 Olympics, playing for the Greek team. “Greece is beautiful, especially the islands,” said Mrs. Duhon.

If Mrs. Duhon could give any piece of advice to her students, it would be, “Just learn, because once you leave here, you are going to need to know that knowledge.” Mrs. Duhon loves her job, and after 13 years of teaching, she has gained a lot of experience. She is a very successful person and an amazing math teacher who explains concepts clearly and takes the time to help students with their questions.
