As part of preparing our incoming 9th graders for their transition to the high school, Link Crew hosted and gave a tour to 150+ 8th graders this week.
Students, in small groups, stopped at various stations along the tour. They visited Sham's art class to see students at work on their projects. They met with THS athletes to talk about the privileges and responsibilities of wear the green and white. They met with Mr. Diodati and watched as his Engineering II students were programming. They also stopped and talked with several FFA leaders who shared about the hands on experiences they will get from being involved in the THS Ag department. And they also had the opportunity to visit the Templeton Performing Art Center where they talked with actors, went back stage to see how our crew uses lights and curtains to bring our plays and musicals to life and met with our Tech Theater students who talked with them about the skills needed to build sets.
Thanks to all who made this a special day.
One of the stops was through Sham's Art Studio where students had the opportunity watch and interact with students as they were at work.
