Members of the THS Leadership class took time out of their busy schedules to spend some time this week at both Templeton Elementary School and Vineyard Elementary School to read some of their favorite children's books as part of Read Across America Week. Launched in 1998 by the National Education Association (NEA), Read Across America is the nation’s largest celebration of reading.
Mr. Mac, the THS Director of Activities, and the principals of our district elementary schools have made it a priority each year to bring students from the high school into the schools to share life lessons and their favorite books with our younger Eagles.
