EAGLE OF THE MONTH - FEBRUARY
Each month staff members at THS nominate a student they want to recognize as “Eagle of the Month”. This month teachers nominated a student who demonstrates a “Cooperative Spirit”. Of the students nominated, four are drawn at random to receive a lunch out at McPhee’s Grill on Main Street. Below are our winners with a brief explanation as to why they were chosen and below that are the other students nominated this month and the staff member who nominated them. Congratulations to all of our nominees.
BROOKLYN HUGHES
Brooklyn brightens up the classroom. She always has a smile and gives her best effort. She actively engages in discussions and supports her peers' learning endeavors. Her strong work ethic, positive attitude, cooperation among her peers and willingness to want the best for others makes her an exceptional student in my classroom. I am very blessed to have Brooklyn in class! -- Nominated by Vanessa Duhon
MELONY SALLAC
Melony doesn't seek attention, but she deserves to be recognized for her quiet, generous support of her peers. She always assists others and thinks nothing of it. She is never bothered by students using her as the "go to" for homework assignments, due dates, and study guides. I look forward to Melony becoming a leader on our campus as her ability and compassion to help others is noticed. Melony: WE SEE YOU! -- Nominated by Coach Phil James
KAITLYNN KASELIONIS
Kaitlynn is such an attention oriented, hard working student. I know I can rely on her to get all her work done perfectly and be willing to help anyone in need. She consistently works shifts in the sports med room to ensure all our student athletes are taken care of. She is very professional in her approach and I know she will always be at her shift where she cooperatively works with all athletes, coaches, and fellow sports med students. I'm very grateful to have her in my sports med class! -- Nominated by Suzanne Forzetting
WILLIAM WALLACE
“William is an absolute delight to have in class. Consistently the first to complete assignments, he eagerly extends a helping hand to his classmates, embodying a spirit of kindness and collaboration that enriches our classroom environment. Beyond his academic achievements, William's dedication knows no bounds; his proactive engagement inside and outside the classroom sets a remarkable example for his peers. Notably, his performance in 'The Outsiders' was nothing short of captivating. For his unwavering commitment and exceptional contributions, William is truly deserving of the title of Eagle of the Month-- Nominated by Jessenya Guerra
