THS and TMS Students Join Templeton Fire in 9/11 Stair Climb

Members of the Templeton Fire Department were climbing the stairs of Volunteer Stadium Monday as they continued their annual remembrance of first responders in New York who climbed the stairs of the Twin Towers to rescue those trapped following the terrorist attacks 22 years ago.  TFD spent hours in the stadium climbing the same number of flights as their counterparts from New York.

THS and TMS students came and talked with our first responder and many ran or climbed the stairs in soldarity with our fire crews.  Walker Craven, THS ASB President, presented Fire Captain Brandon Wall with a flag that was flown over the California State Capitol as a gift of thanks for the sacrifices made daily by our first responders who put others before themselves.  Thank you to all who participate in the event.
