Link Crew hosted our freshmen in their annual Water Balloon Toss Championship today on the outdoor courts at THS. Nearly 100 showed up to see who had the nerves and the hands to be crowned this year's champions. There were some great catches, some near misses and some good splashes as balloons came in too hard and too fast.
This is the first of our monthly large group freshman activities hosted by Link Crew. In the not to distant future the Link Crew leaders will be taking on a team of freshman all stars in dodgeball and Link Crew will be hosting a freshman lunch on October 13th during the THS Club Fair. Great things ahead for our freshies.
Students were lined up 12 feet apart to start. One person would throw to there partner. With each successful catch they would need to take a step back. It was a great competition. In the end this year's winners were Wyatt Botts and Alejandro Guzman with a distance of about 50 feet.
This year's winner will be receiving a lunch of their choice from a local restaurant delivered to them by their Link Crew leaders as a gift from CI, our parent support group.
