Cole Eisenbrand Named Eagle of the Year

Cole Receiving Award

A big congratulations to THS senior Cole Eisenbrand who was named Eagle of the Year at the THS Evening for the Stars held in June.  The following are the words shared about Cole by Mrs. Lloyd, THS principal.

"The Eagle of the Year award is a longstanding tradition at Templeton High School. The student who will be receiving this award has been nominated and agreed upon by the Templeton High School staff.

This is a student who genuinely takes pride in their high school. This is somebody who shows up to cheer on their peers whether it be sporting events, drama productions, or club activities.  This is a student who genuinely cares about others, and who takes time to get to know their peers and staff. This is a student who embodies the Eagle spirit. This is a student who wholeheartedly takes pride in being an Eagle and wearing green.

This student not only embodies school spirit but this student is kind, honest and respectful with every peer and staff member they interact with. This student has an ability to strike up a meaningful conversation, and ask the most inquisitive questions. This student is consistently striving to make Templeton High School a better place regardless if it be the facilities or programs, this student is always thinking. This student has pitched multiple ideas throughout the school year, and some may eventually come to fruition.

This is one of the first students who introduced themself to me and made me feel welcome on the Templeton High School campus. This student went out of their way to not only say hi, but continued to connect with me and took a genuine interest since I was new on campus. This student has always been a bright spot to not only my days, but the staff and student body as a whole.

This student is extremely kind hearted, caring and friendly to everyone. He is deeply thoughtful and curious in his engagement with people. He is resilient, hard working, focused and always goal oriented. This student is courageous, capable and absolutely able to overcome any obstacle in his path.

A direct quote from one of this student’s teachers, “This student is the perfect citizen on campus. I really wish I had 1,000 more students like him. He always participates in class discussions and lessons, he is exceptionally polite, and gives 110% to his school work. He often attends study sessions to seek out help with learning if he needs an extra boost! He is so dedicated to doing his best. This student cares deeply about learning and also his peers. His integrity is unshakable, and he considers everyone his friend. His peers also have so much respect for him. This student makes every class a joy to teach!”

This student inspires both students and staff to do better and be better. This is a well-rounded student and remarkable young man who we have all been blessed to know. This year’s Eagle of the Year award, nominated by the Templeton High School staff is... Cole Eisenbrand! "

Congratulations Cole, we are so proud of you!!!
