Girls Tennis Team Get Time with Pro Tennis Player

Members of the THS girls tennis team had the opportunity to hit with and spend time talking with Alexandra Osborne, one of the professional tennis players participating in the Central Coast Classic Tennis Tournament underway at Templeton Tennis Ranch.  This $ 60,000 USTA Pro Circuit Event is one of about 90 ITF World Tennis Tour/USTA Pro Circuit events that take place each year throughout the nation. These tournaments provide a pathway for aspiring tennis players and established professionals to compete in world’s largest tennis tournaments, including the Australian, French and U.S. Open and Wimbledon.

Alexandra was born in Australia and has won 3 ITF events including recent tournaments in Spain and Portugal. In her time with the THS girls’ team she talked about her experiences on the tour, her college career and the challenges and blessings that come with a tennis career.
