THS Cross country has had a great start to their season. Their first meet saw 18 personal records recorded by Eagle runners. At Saturday’s Morro Bay Invitational the Eagles were one of over 40 teams signed up for the 2.56 mile race. As always the Eagles showed tremendous effort and team spirit.
The boys team ran a strong race with Josh Bell leading the Eagles. Our top five guys varsity runners were:

- 15:58.0 - William Wallace
- 15:58.5 - Nikita Norton
- 16:23.0 - Cohen Wallace
- 16:58.2 - Wyatt Ashton
Taylor Sutton led the Lady Eagles who had another strong performance. Our top five girls varsity runners in this meet were:

- 19:41.2 - Melissa Chavez
- 21:17.0 - Maya Gutierrez
- 21:35.0 - Kyla Schwartz
- 24:40.0 - Maya Leavitt
We are so proud of our cross country team. There effort, dedication, love for their sport and each other is evident to all who see them at meets, running in the morning or at their team dinner. Great job Eagles !!!
