Templeton Adult School

Templeton Adult School serves adult students from the North County area with a High School Diploma class. This is an open enrollment program where students can enroll at any time. The High School Diploma class uses the Independent Study model for core academic and elective classes. The curriculum is competency-based so that students can progress at their own pace to earn their diplomas. Students ideally meet with a teacher weekly to review assignments, take tests and receive their next assignments. Adult students may earn their diplomas at any time during the school year.

Enrollment Procedures:

• New to Templeton Adult School:  To begin the enrollment process we will need a copy of your high school transcript from the last school you attended. You can request the transcript from the school you attended or you can complete a form here at our office for us to request the information. Once you/we have the transcript, we will evaluate it and determine how many classes you will need to complete to obtain your diploma.
• Returning Students:  You will need to take a test on a computer (which requires about 45 minutes), complete our contract, take a survey.  After which, you will  be given a book to take home to begin working on your class. Any questions please contact Cheryl London.

Enrollment Dates

• JULY:  
  • openTuesday and Wednesday evenings from 3:30 - 6:00.  First class will be on July 9, 2024.
• AUGUST:  
  • open Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 3:30 -7:00.  Starting August 6, 2024.
• SEPTEMBER thru MAY:
  • open Monday - Wednesday from 3:30 - 6:00
  • Tuesday and Thursday evening from 4:00 - 6:00
  • Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 - 12:00

 We are located at 964 Old County Road in Templeton. Follow the signs on the building to enter through the correct door. Classes will run from July 9, 2024 through June 3, 2025. 

Graduation ceremonies for these students are scheduled for June 3, 2025.
