Acheive your educational and career goals by earning your high school diploma.  Our flexible and free High School Diploma Class is designed with busy North County adults in mind.  Whether you're just getting started or almost finished, our dedicated teachers and staff are here to help you succeed.  Support is also available in Spanish!

How Classes Work

Our Independent study model allows for the flexibility and support busy adults need.

  1. After reviewing your transcript, we identify which classses students need to take.
  2. Students are given a textbook for their assigned class.  This textbook provides instruction and practice assessments to help students build their knowledge and skills at their own pace.
  3. Students are encouraged to regularly visit our office hours to turn in work and get support.  How often you visit is up to you.
  4. Once a book is finished, students take a test (on-site) to show what they've learned.
  5. After passing a subject test, students receive a new book for their next class and the process starts over.  

Ready to Get Started?  Here's How...

  • New Students
  1. Secure a copy of your high school transcript using the below form and submit it to clondon@templetonusd.org.
    • Enrollment Form
    • If you have trouble getting your transcripts, please come into our office and we can help.
  2. Once we have your transcript, our staff will review it with you to decide which classes you need to take (takes about 15 minutes).
  3. Final steps include signing a contract, taking an ungraded English asssessment, and completing a short survey.
  4. After that, you're ready to get started.
  • Returning Students: 
  1. Take an ungraded, computer-based assessment test (about 45 minutes).
  2. Complete our contract & take surveys.
  3. After this, you will be given a book to begin working on your class

Office Hours

Students are encouraged to come to our open office hours where they can submit work, take tests, and get help from our dedicated faculty.

  • JULY:  
    • Classes start July 9, 2024.
    • Tuesday & Wednesday - 3:30-6:00 PM
  • AUGUST:  
    • Tuesday & Thursday - 3:30 -6:00 PM.
  • SEPTEMBER - MAY:
    • Monday - Thursday -  3:30 - 6:00 PM
    • Wednesday & Thursday -  9:00 - 12:00 AM
