TES Weekly Updates

Morning Drop-Off Expectations

Now that we’ve wrapped up our first week of school, we’re enlisting your help to tighten up our morning drop-off routines. We love seeing all our families each morning, so whether you're pulling up and your child jumps out of the car or you are walking together through our gates, we kindly ask you to help us with a few expectations that help everyone have a great morning!

Driving Drop-Off

If you’re pulling through our parking lot and dropping off in front of the front gates, please pull forward to the yellow drop-off zone. In this area, parents need to stay in their cars and not walk to the gates. The yellow drop-off zone is a great area to give your little Eagle a hug/kiss in the car, wish them a good day, and have them walk to the front gates. We need our parents to stay in the car so that the flow of traffic continues, especially since many of these parents are then off to a second drop-off at another TUSD campus. We really appreciate your help TES families!

Walking Drop-Off

If you’re walking together through the front gates, we’ll be returning to the yellow line drop-off which is painted near the office steps. It’s at this space that you’ll give your little Eagle a hug/kiss, wish them a good day, and they’ll then walk by themselves through the front gates towards kindergarten line up or the playground in first or second grade. Many thanks to our returning families are already modeling this TES expectation and we’ll help transition our new families next week. We appreciate your help in creating this smooth morning routine!

Attention Parent Volunteers

Our TES team truly appreciates the outpouring of parent volunteers! From being a classroom helper or attending a field trip during the school year, all interested adults will need to complete these annual TUSD Parent Volunteer Forms. Please give our office a call, stop by during the day, or email Jessica Fielder to learn more. We look forward to starting volunteers on campus the week after Labor Day weekend. Thank you, TES families!

PE Volunteers

Mrs. Botts is excited to be teaching our first and second grade PE classes this year and is eager to enlist the help of parent volunteers on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please use the instructions above and also sign up using this link for PE time slots in the weeks and months to come.

School Website

All the TUSD websites changed over the summer, so please take a quick minute to bookmark our new TES Website. We’re still making updates to the new website, but it’s a great place to look for bell schedules, suggested supply lists, grade level information, calendars, and more.
