Giving Back

THS students and faculty make a positive impact on our campus and in the community all year round! Through a variety of initiatives, activities and club events, we all strive to uplift and support our community through philanthropic events. We actively engage in initiatives such as sock drives, food drives, toy collections during the holidays, put in thousands of hours of community service through campus clubs and recognize those impacted by cancer during our Cancer Awareness month every October.

During the colder months we work with CAPSLO and organize sock drives to provide warmth and comfort to those in need. By collecting new socks, we aim to help individuals experiencing homelessness or facing financial hardships. Our students show compassion and solidarity by coming together to contribute to this important cause.

During the holiday season we work with the Salvation Army and embrace the spirit of giving by organizing toy collections. These collections aim to bring joy to underprivileged children in our community. By donating new toys, our students help ensure that every child experiences the magic of the holidays.

Additionally, we recognize and support those impacted by cancer. Our school community comes together to raise awareness, and have our annual Pony Up event where students donate their hair for wigs for children who have suffered hair loss due to medical treatments. Through events like these, we foster a supportive environment that shows solidarity and compassion towards those affected by this disease.

By actively participating in these philanthropic events, our students develop empathy, resilience, and a sense of social responsibility. Together, we make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and create a community rooted in compassion. Through events like these our faculty and staff show a commitment to making a positive impact and creating a brighter future for all!
