Templeton Adult School

For the 2023-24 School Year:

For the month of August, Adult School will be open Tuesday evenings from 4:00 - 6:00 and Thursday evenings from 4:00 - 7:00.

From September to June, Adult School will be open on Monday from 3:30 - 6:00, Tuesday from 4:00 - 6:00, Wednesday from 3:30 - 6:00 and Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00.   We are located at 964 Old County Road in Templeton. Follow the signs on the building to enter through the correct door. Classes will run from July 11, 2023, through June 3, 2024. 

To begin the enrollment process we will need a copy of your high school transcript from the last school you attended. You can request the transcript from the school you attended or you can complete a form here at our office for us to request the information. Once you/we have the transcript, we will evaluate it and determine how many classes you will need to complete to obtain your diploma. We will ask you to take a test on a computer (which requires about 45 minutes), complete our contract, take a survey.  After which, you will  be given a book to take home to begin working on your class. Templeton Adult School serves adult students from the North County area in the High School Diploma class. This is an open enrollment program where students can enroll at any time. The Adult High School Diploma class uses the Independent Study model for core academic and elective classes. The curriculum is competency-based so that students can progress at their optimum rate to earn their diplomas. Students meet with their teacher weekly to review assignments and receive their next assignments. Adult students may earn their diplomas at any time during the school year. Graduation ceremonies for these students are scheduled for June 3, 2024.
